Day – 6 and the halfway mark for ’12 Days of Costco Christmas’. This time we are looking at a Nativity Set, Musical Advent Calender, and Nutcracker Scene.
I’m not particularly into Nativity settings/scenes myself, but the Kirkland Signature Nativity Figurines currently available in the Costco Australia stores are quite appealing. The 13-piece set is ‘antique’ in style and is handpainted. I’m not to sure about the $117.99 price tag however so if you are ‘into’ these types of settings please leave a comment and let us know your thoughts. ..
The ‘Mr Christmas Animated Advent House’ is however right up my alley…pity I have about 5 different advent calenders I use already! The house plays 25 Christmas Carols one for each door you open. The central scene lights up and the figures are animated along with the carol. The house can be used as is with the different carols for each door or there is room behind each door to add a chocolate or small treasure for younger audiences. The Advent House is listed at $65.99.
Another one I have little knowledge of is ”The Nutcracker’ – it’s just not something that was ever a part of our Christmas. I do however like things that look nice and this piece I think looks wonderful. The stage is set with animated characters, and the animation has them dancing to the beautiful music made by this ‘Lemax Nutcracker Suite Animated Stage with Music’. The set retails for $89.99.
Last but certainly not least (although as far as price goes this is super-cheap) ar these lovely ‘Mr Christmas Animated Porcelain Music Boxes’. There are three designs available, and each has a different animation inside. These are beautifully made and retail at $17.79 each.
