Maggi 2-Minute Noodles – Costco Versus

Henry Ford mass produced the Model-T Ford and offered it ‘in any color, so long as it’s black’. When you wander down an aisle at Costco stores in Australia that ethos rings true for the products on the floor, and when it comes to Maggi 2-Minute Noodles you can have any flavour so long as it’s chicken. Now I don’t have a problem with that because a majority of people in my household prefer chicken 2-Minute Noodles, but as with many things, Costco’s range won’t please everyone.

What you should be happy with is that buying a case of 18 packets of Maggi 2-Minute Minute Noodles from Costco will typically save you money over the major supermarkets. Now I say typically because, of course, the major chain have products go on special from time to time. But despite their discounting even Coles still couldn’t beat the Costco price per pack. The week that I price checked Maggi 2-Minute Noodles at Coles they had a special at $6 for a 10 pack, making it $0.60 per pack.

The table below shows the cost per pack of Maggi 2-Minutes Noodles at Costco, Coles and Safeway, in any flavour so long as it’s chicken!

Maggi 2 Minute Noodles (Chicken Flavour) – Cost per pack (72g ea)
Store Price QTY per pack Unit Price
Costco $10.29 18 $0.57
Coles $6.95 10 $0.70
Woolworths $7.95 12 $0.66
