Surf Sports – Wavestorm Surfboards and Morey Body Boards

Australians love fun is the sun, and a vast majority of the population live fairly close to the beach. Costco Australia is offering something for you Aussie surf rats to add some fun when you hit the local surf beach, or maybe even just for a paddle on flat water.

The offerings are an 8 foot ‘soft top’ surfboards from Wavestorm that costs $133.99 and quality Morey Boogie Mach 9TR body boards for $34.49.

Now these are by no means pro kit, but for some quality fun at the beach I don’t think you will find better value. A cheap body board at a surf shop will cost you $60 to $80 or maybe even more and, unless you are fairly serious about surfing, I don’t even want to scare you with the price of a surfboard.

And while we are talking pro kit, check out what these guys are doing on their Wavestorm surfboards.

  1. I know that feeling Rafx. We have a cheap body board that cost us about $80 or so at a surf shop and it is nowhere near as good as these Morey Boogies at Costco.

    1. Hi Cass…I have just been informed by a member at Whirlpool Forums that they sold old long ago and are now an inactive item. That means you probably won’t see them again until they come in as summer 2013 stock, which is probably only 8 months away…but I guess that doesn’t help you right now.

  2. I saw then down at bondi beach at the beach hire at the promenade, selling for $260 and they got 3 sizes. They were offering arash shirt on toP when u buy a board

  4. Hey guys,

I was wondering if I can get any Water sports products (water skiing/wake boarding) through Costco?

I’m based in Melbourne and wanted to start researching.

    Can anyone help??
